Nailed It: 6th Indieversary Collection

*Disclosure: Press samples – I received these polishes for free in exchange for swatch photography. All reviews and opinions are my own.*

Hello, and welcome to another gorgeous collection review post! I’m super excited to be sharing my swatches of the Nailed It 6th Indieversary collection, releasing for a week-long preorder on September 5.

This special collection features four gorgeous polishes, two shimmer based and two flakie based, to commemorate Nailed It’s 6th Indieversary, and I have the joy of sharing these beauties with you.

Here are the details: the collection will go live for a week-long preorder on the Nailed It site from September 5 at 5pm ET to September 11 at 11:59pm ET. Polishes will retail for $13 each or $50 as a set.

There’s a really fun mix of colors in this set, so without further ado, let’s get into it!

Serendipity

Serendipity is described as a blurple base with violet/pink/gold crystal flakies and holo flakies.

Serendipity had a slightly thicker formula, likely because of all of its flakes. Regardless, it was easy to work with and and full of depth – I had the tiniest shadow of visible nail line at two coats so I did three, but three coats also helped to deepen the polish’s effect.

Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat.

Elysian

Elysian is described as teal base with pink to gold shifting shimmer, violet/pink crystal flakies, and holo flakies.

Elysian was another polish that was packed with flakes. I recommend going for medium or thinner coats to build up the depth of this polish. The formula was, as Nailed It always is, easy to work with.

Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.

Aurora

Aurora is described as a smoky white base packed with pink to gold shifting shimmer and holo flakies.

Aurora had a slightly thicker formula, so I recommend going for three thinner coats to build up the light base. Those with shorter nails or weaker visible nail line could probably get away with two coats. This was such a delicately gorgeous polish – I’ve really been in love with these white/light grey base polishes recently, and Aurora was no exception.

Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat.

Arcane

Arcane is described as a blackened blue base with a strong pink to gold shifting shimmer and holo flakies.

Arcane had a smooth, jelly-like formula. The shimmer in this polish is very strong and pretty, and I thought it paired with the base very well.

Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.

A huge congratulations to Nailed It for an amazing six years so far, and here’s to many more!đź’•

Let me know which of these polishes you think you’ll be picking up, and thanks for reading.

XOXO,

Lauren
