BCB Lacquers: Swamp Witch
Swamp Witch is described as an emerald green polish with a blue/green/gold shift and holo. It is inspired by swamp witches and magic.
Swamp Witch had a slightly lighter formula, but it was easy to work with and quite opaque on the first coat.
Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.
Swamp Witch will be available for $13 with a cap of 150.
Jen & Berries: This IS My Costume
This IS My Costume is described as an intensely silver holographic polish with red metallic flakies. It celebrates those who put minimal effort into their Halloween costumes.
This IS My Costume was sheer on the first coat, but built up quite well afterwards. At two coats there was a very unique yet elegant look to it, although with some nail line showing. The holo in this polish is really strong, and I think the mix of red metallic flakes is very unique and gorgeous.
Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat.
This IS My Costume will be available for $12 with a cap of 100.
Nailed It: Limber Up
Limber Up is described as a light gray base with a subtle blue tint, packed with copper/green, red/green crystal flakies, and holo flakies. It is inspired by Zombieland.
Limber Up is super packed with flakes, but I will say the base leans a bit on the sheerer side compared to other Nailed It flakie polishes. Two coats was quite opaque, but I had the slightest bit of nail line so I went for three. Overall, the flakie payoff is fantastic and the flakes lie nice and flat.
Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat.
Limber Up will be available for $13 with a cap of 150.
Wildflower Lacquer: Tonight…We Fly!
Tonight…We Fly! is described as a yellowy olive green base with teal to red to orange to green shifting multichrome shimmer. It is inspired by Hocus Pocus.
Tonight…We Fly! definitely has an olive-y base, and the formula is very smooth. I went for thin coats so with thicker coats you could probably get away with two coats, but I do recommend three thinner coats to strengthen the opacity and maximize the shiftiness. The shift on this polish is insane, but it is quite opaque and I (along with the maker) recommend a base coat to prevent staining.
Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat.
Tonight…We Fly! will be available for $13 with no cap.
I hope you’ll be picking some of these beauties up! Thanks for reading.
XOXO,
Lauren
