KBShimmer: 5 Shades for Halloween

*Disclosure: Press samples – I received these polishes for free in exchange for swatch photography. All reviews and opinions are my own.*

Hello! Today I’ll be sharing five previously released shades from KBShimmer that are perfect for Halloween! These shades are available both on the KBShimmer website and on Amazon.

Let’s get into the spooky spiritđź‘»

Here for the Boos

Here for the Boos is described as a perfect pumpkin base loaded with a ton of silver holographic glitters.

I was blown away by the formula for Here for the Boos – it was super full coverage and practically a one coater. The formula was also even and smooth.

Shown is two coats plus a glitter grabbing top coat, then glossy top coat.

Coulda Had A Bad Witch

Coulda Had A Bad Witch is described as a grape purple jelly base filled with a dash of holo sparkles and color-shifting flakes that shift from hues of green and aqua, to fiery red, gold and orange.

Coulda Had A Bad Witch had a smooth formula, and the flakes come out evenly and flat.

Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.

You Go Ghoul!

You Go Ghoul! is described as a squishy black jelly with sparkles and glitters in grape, berry and orange.

You Go Ghoul! had a slightly streaky base, and the glitters are also very textured and relatively thick. I recommend fully drying the polish between coats so that glitters can stick to the base, and don’t go too thin with your coats either.

Shown is three coats plus one coat of a glitter grabbing top coat, then glossy top coat.

Fool Moon

Fool Moon is described as a multichrome polish that shifts from moonlight yellow and warmer goldenrod into shades of sage, olive, and, at extreme angles, a dusty blue.

Fool Moon had a smooth and opaque formula, but its brush strokes didn’t completely go away when dry.

Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.

Bugs and Kisses

Bugs and Kisses is described as a deep black base with a scattering of micro holo sparkles and color-shifting flakes in burnt orange, gold, green and red.

Bugs and Kisses had a pretty good density of flakes, but that did lead to the formula being a bit on the thicker side. Regardless, it wasn’t hard to work with and the flakes were well dispersed.

Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.

I hope these polishes are on your Halloween list this year! Thanks for reading.

XOXO,

Lauren
