*Disclosure: PR samples- I received these polishes for free in exchange for swatch photography.*
Hello loves! I was sent the KBShimmer RV There Yet? summer collection to swatch and share, and I’m super excited to present these gorgeous polishes. This collection brings forth great summer vibes, and it has me really pumped for the upcoming months. There’s a great mix of colors and finishes, so there really is something for everyone!
The RV There Yet? collection launches June 1, and each polish will retail for $11. So, without further ado, let’s get into it!
Pitcher This
Pitcher This is described as a cherry-leaning polish loaded with colorful, shifting shimmer. In the light, bright gold and copper shimmer accents pop, while in the shade the shimmer shows more muted tones of orange, lime, and red. Sometimes, a hint of blue and violet can be seen, turning this cherry shade into fuchsia.
Pitcher This had a wonderful, smooth formula. It was incredibly opaque on the first coat, and I think if I had a less prominent nail line or just shorter nails in general, I could’ve gotten away with just one coat.
Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat. Enjoy the nail art I paired with this polish!
Red, White & Brews
Red, White & Brews is described as a faded red mega flame polish that’s loaded with the most holographic glitters.
Red, White & Brews applied like a true glitter jelly polish. The polish when paired with a nice glossy top coat has such a juicy and sparkly look, and it’s perfect for days like the Fourth of July. The glitters layer well, but you’re going to want a glitter grabbing top coat or potentially two coats of glossy top coat.
Shown is two coats with glossy top coat.
Coast Through Life
Coast Through Life is described as a vibrant raspberry-leaning purple linear holographic.
Some exciting news – Coast Through Life was a one-coater for me! Yes, a one-coater linear holographic polish, and it’s stunning. The formula was awesome – smooth, not too thick, and really nicely opaque. This polish is a stunner that I’m sure I’ll come back to in the summer.
Shown is one coat with glossy top coat.
Perfectly Suited
Perfectly Suited is described as a yellow nail polish with a hint of chartreuse, holo glow flakes, and a golden color-shifting shimmer that shows off shades of gold, orange, yellow, and lime.
Perfectly Suited was a polish that I personally was a bit surprised myself really liking. I typically shy away from yellows and more often than not dislike how they look on my, but I think the hints of chartreuse that Perfectly Suited has really flatters it.
Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat. Perfectly Suited dried really glossy so I didn’t need to have a glossy top coat. If you have a stronger nail line than me, it’s possible you might need three coats of this polish instead of two. My photos also lean more lime green/chartreuse than what the polish actually looks like – in person, it’s more golden in most lighting. This polish also pairs fantastically with a deep steel blue!
Easy Glowing
Easy Glowing is described as a neon chartreuse jelly polish loaded with color-shifting flakes that show hues of orange, lemon, and lime. It also glows under blacklight, which is something I forgot to test and take pictures of (oops!).
Easy Glowing had a great formula – the formula is quite opaque for a neon, and the flakes themselves lie very flat and didn’t require any fishing. The neon-ness of the polish is also very bright in person, and it’s a really fun summer shade.
Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat.
Happy Camper
Happy Camper is described as a near aqua, teal-leaning robin’s egg blue creme. In my opinion, it’s pretty similar to the classic Tiffany blue color.
Happy Camper had a pretty decent formula. I personally wouldn’t classify this as a one-coater because I didn’t have completely even coverage on my first coat, but with two coats the polish self-leveled well and didn’t show any streaking or brush strokes.
Shown is two coats with glossy top coat. My photos lean a bit more blue than the polish actually is in person -there’s a bit more of an aqua/teal feeling to the polish when you’re actually wearing it.
P.s. the yellow used in the nail art below is Perfectly Suited!
Cruise Control
Cruise Control is described as a bright cobalt blue with mint green and gold shimmer. A faded red-orange in bright lights shifts to a light lime and faded indigo in the shade.
Cruise Control is such a gorgeous blue polish – it shimmers and transforms in different lightings really well. I could probably stare at my nails all day with this polish on.
Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat, in direct and indirect lighting. I hope you enjoy the lobster nail art I’ve included with this beauty!
RV There Yet?
RV There Yet? is described as a pale, silver-leaning lavender polish with a strong, copper-forward, color-shifting shimmer. In bright lights the gleaming copper is accented by holo glow flakes, and in shaded light there are shades of rich goldenrod yellow and warm red-oranges that accent the pale purple hue.
RV There Yet? is probably one of my current favorite polishes. It’s so so stunning, and as a lavender and pink polish lover it hits the perfect spot. The glow is unreal, and I think this shade will look flattering on pretty much any skin tone. It’s perfect for spring and summer and the transition between – I really cannot express how much I love this gorgeous polish.
Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.
Lights Out
Lights Out is described as a midnight-to-purple multichrome that starts with a nearly black, not quite navy hue that transitions to a warm magenta.
This multichrome really captures a dark, warm summer night perfectly. It reminds me of summer nights that I spent in Boston, walking by the Charles River (shoutout to my fellow Bostonians!). The shift is seamless, and the formula is wonderfully smooth – the polish applies slightly jelly-like, so there weren’t any brush strokes for this multichrome.
Shown is two coats with glossy top coat. Swipe through the carousel for the shifts!
To recap, this collection will go live on KBShimmer’s website and on Amazon on June 1st. Each polish retails for $11.
Thank you so much for reading! I hope you enjoy this summer-inspired shades.
XOXO,
Lauren
