Hello! Today I have an exciting specialty finish collection by a new-to-my-blog brand, Dam Nail Polish! Dam Nail Polish is releasing a super fun set of 5 thermal creams on Friday, Nov 5 at noon ET. Polishes will be available for $10.50 each or $50 as a set on the Dam Nail Polish site.
I think that’s it for the details, so let’s get into it!
Falliage
Falliage is described as a bright orange when warm and reddish orange when cold cream thermal.
Falliage had a jelly-like and smooth formula. Like most thermals, it dried flat and required three coats to be fully opaque in the lightest warm state.
Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat. Swipe through the carousel to see it in the warm and cold states!
Cold to Hot-ton Candy
Cold to Hot-ton Candy is described as a pink when warm and gray blue when cold cream thermal.
Cold to Hot-ton Candy had a great formula that was very smooth and self leveling. This polish, and all the others in the collection, were super reactive to temperature changes.

Fine Cherry Wine
Fine Cherry Wine is described as a deep rich red when warm and chocolatey brown when cold cream thermal.
Fine Cherry Wine had a smooth formula that was slightly more opaque than the others in the collection – I probably would have been fine at two coats.

The Real Slime Shady
The Real Slime Shady is described as a bright lime green when warm and a deeper green when cold cream thermal.
The Real Slime Shady had a very smooth and well self-leveling formula that also didn’t pool. It’s colors are more vibrant and contrasting than in photos, and again dries flat like most thermals.

Hint of Mint
Hint of Mint is described as a nice minty green when warm and deep forest green when cold cream thermal.
Hint of Mint also had a smooth and self-leveling formula that dried flat. Again, a very temperature sensitive formula.

In general, all of the thermals had quite stark and obvious contrasts that were fun to work with. Definitely a set I recommend, especially if you like thermals!
Will you be picking any of these fun polishes up? Let me know, and thanks for reading!
XOXO,
Lauren
