Hey all! It’s that time of the month where the November Hella Handmade Creations (HHC) is nearing its sale dates. HHC goes live for preorder on their website from the 14th to the 21st of every month. Makers create polishes around a theme that they decide, and you get to pick and choose from a wide variety of makers.
I have 8 polishes to share with you from this month’s sale, so let’s get into it!
BCB Lacquers: Cosmic Lantern
Cosmic Lantern is described as an emerald green polish with gold, green, red, turquoise micro flakes and holo. It is the next polish in their Galaxy series, and is inspired by Green Ring Nebula.
Cosmic Lantern had a smooth and even mix/dispersion of glitters. Overall, the tone is a bit more yellow/olive than what you see in my swatch photos.
Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.
Cosmic Lantern will be available for $13 with a cap of 150.
Cuticula: Fenyx Rising
Fenyx Rising is described as a purple jelly base full of orange/gold flakes, shiny metallic gold flakes, and silver holographic flakes. It is the first polish in their new video games series, and is inspired by Immortals Fenyx Rising.
Fenyx Rising had smooth and even coverage, with the flakes being quite dense and coming out very easily.
Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.
Fenyx Rising will be available for $13 with a cap of 200.
Different Dimension: The Carousel Never Stops Turning
The Carousel Never Stops Turning is described as a navy blue jelly polish loaded with green to gold color shifting aurora shimmers and holographic flakes. It is the last polish in their Greys Anatomy series.
The Carousel Never Stops Turning had a really smooth and easy formula. I think two coats would be good for some people, but I saw the slightest bit of nail line so I went for three.
Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat.
The Carousel Never Stops Turning will be available for $12 with no cap.
Kathleen & Co: Mystic Topaz
Mystic Topaz is described as a violet jelly with color shifting flakies and a light dusting of holo microglitters. It is the next polish in their Birthstones series.
Mystic Topaz had a pretty medium density of flakes, but they lie flat and build up well. The base is a little on the light side, so I do recommend three coats for the best look.
Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat.
Mystic Topaz will be available for $13 with a cap of 150.
Lilypad Lacquer: In the Pink
In the Pink is described as a neon pink crelly full of iridescent flakes. It is the next polish in their Color Therapy series
In the Pink was very opaque and neon, and its flakes come out easily with higher density.
Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.
In the Pink will be available for $14 with no cap.
Nailed It: Sweet Kiss
Sweet Kiss is described as a very pale baby pink base packed with a red to gold to green shifting shimmer and holo flakies. It is the first polish in their new Pokemon inspired series, and Sweet Kiss is inspired by Clefable.
Sweet Kiss had an amazingly smooth formula, just like other Nailed It shimmers. This combo of colors and shimmer is probably one of my favorites ever, and I absolutely adore this delicate polish.
Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.
Sweet Kiss will be available for $13 with a cap of 175.
Rogue Lacquer: Les Poissons
Les Poissons is described as an off white crelly with black and red flakes. It is the next polish in their The Little Mermaid series, and is inspired by Chef Louis.
Les Poissons had an easy formula to work with, signature of Rogue Lacquer’s crellies. The flakes lie evenly and flat when applied.
Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.
Les Poissons will be available for $12 with no cap.
Sassy Cats Lacquer: Puppeteer
Puppeteer is described as a turquoise leaning blue jelly filled with silver & gold solid colored metallic flakes. It is the next polish in their Locke & Key series.
The flakes in Puppeteer were even and flat with good density. Its base leans a bit more teal than in my photos.
Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.
Puppeteer will be available for $13 with a cap of 100.
That’s it for this month! Thanks for reading.
XOXO,
Lauren
