Hi! Today I have a quick set of swatches and review for this month’s Polished Gamers Box. I have one gorgeous polish to share with you today, so let’s get right into it!
Jen & Berries: You Red My Mine
You Red My Mine is described as a red jelly packed with purple/red/gold flakies, red metallic flakies and a mix of black glitter. It was inspired by Minecraft’s redstone.
You Red My Mine was stunning – it really follows the description and has a jelly formula, but the flakes and black glitters are so stunning. They compliment the base really well, and the polish definitely has a Minecraft-y feel. This is one of the few brighter reds I’ve felt drawn to recently, and even in the bottle the polish has a stunning glow.
The polish has the slightest bit of nail line visible after three coats since it is a jelly base, but the glitters and flakes paired with the deeper red base distracts enough to make the nail line negligible in most lights.
My swatches show three coats plus glossy top coat.
