Different Dimension: Let’s Glow | Nails by LLAURENAILS

Hello! I’m super excited to share the upcoming Different Dimension release, the Let’s Glow collection. This release coincides with DD’s 9th anniversary (congrats, Different Dimension!🎉) and a huge 9th anniversary sale too, so if you’ve been eyeing any of their polishes now’s your chance.

Alongside the sale comes the release of the Let’s Glow collection, and a 9th anniversary polish that will only be available from July 12-July 31. I have both the collection and the anniversary polish for review, so let’s dive in.

Let’s Glow Collection

The Let’s Glow collection is a 9-piece glow-in-the-dark collection featuring 7 neon cremes and 2 white glitter crellies. In general, all polishes dry a bit textured, including the cremes, since glow in the dark pigment tends to be a bit larger. None of my swatches were used with a white or blurring base, but if you do use either you might be able to get away with using less coats for each polish.

For all of the neons, my photos seem to make the polishes appear a little less vibrant than they are in person. In case your monitor doesn’t make it seem like so, all of the cremes are definitely neons! There’s a bit of a learning curve with the application for these neons, but my best advice is to go for thicker coats and make sure you have enough polish on the brush before you start since the polishes dry really fast.

Glow Hard or Glow Home

Glow Hard or Glow Home is described as a neon magenta creme polish that glows magenta in the dark and under uv light.

Glow Hard or Glow Home had a pretty decent formula – if you go in thin it won’t self-level very well, but with slightly thicker coats the polish performed much better. All of the cremes apply crelly-like, and this one was the slightest bit patchy on the first coat. I went for three coats in my swatch photos, but when I reapplied this polish for a skittle mani later (which I’ll have down below!) I only needed two coats. The polish is a more more vibrant hot pink than in photos, and it was much more flattering on my skin tone than I expected, which was a great bonus.

Let’s Get Glowing

Let’s Get Glowing is described as a neon pink creme polish that glows pink in the dark and under uv light.

Let’s Get Glowing was one of the smoother polishes that self-leveled better in the collection. Again, I suggest going for slightly thicker coats.

Don’t Glow There

Don’t Glow There is described as a neon orange creme polish that glows orange in the dark and under uv light.

Don’t Glow There had the slightest shadow of nail line with two coast, so I did three. If I went with coats that were even a little bit thicker, I would have been fine with two (which is what I did for the skittle mani below).

It’s Glow Time

It’s Glow Time is described as a neon yellow creme polish that glows yellow in the dark and under uv light.

It’s Glow Time had a decently self leveling formula. Compared to others in the collection, it could use a white undie. This polish was also glowing in the dark longer than the others, but that might have been because I shook the bottle better before I applied it. The glow is also stronger than what my photos show.

Ready Set Glow

Ready Set Glow is described as a neon green creme polish that glows green in the dark and under uv light.

Ready Set Glow had a pretty even formula. Like It’s Glow Time, it could use an undie compared to others in the collection. The glow for this polish is a bit more cool toned than in photos – more icy green than yellow.

Glow Getter

Glow Getter is described as a neon blue creme polish that glows blue in the dark and under uv light.

Glow Getter had the second best formula of the neons in this collection. It self leveled pretty well, and using slightly thicker coats is definitely the key.

Shown is two to three coats plus glossy top coat. Some nails used three coats because I did a thinner first coat.

Glow Up

Glow Up is described as a neon purple creme polish that glows purple in the dark and under uv light.

Glow Up had the best formula in the collection, and was slightly jelly-like in application. The formula was pretty smooth and quite opaque. Glow Up is a bit warmer and more magenta leaning than in my photos.

Look At Me Glow

Look At Me Glow is described as a white crelly based polish with neon pink and neon yellow glitters in a variety of sizes and shapes. It glows in the dark.

Look At Me Glow is such a cute polish – I absolutely loved how it looked, and the glitters are adorable. It also glowed like crazy – I didn’t even charge it at first and it was quite glowy. The glitters are a tiny bit sparse so I did fish a little bit for the larger glitters and placed them more intentionally. I would recommend a glitter grabbing top coat because of the larger glitters.

Way To Glow

Way To Glow is described as a white crelly based polish with neon pink, neon green and neon blue glitters in a variety of sizes and shapes. It glows in the dark.

Way To Glow is another super cute polish. The glitters come out more than Look At Me Glow, and again I’d recommend a glitter grabbing top coat. If you love white crellies, this is definitely one for you!

On Cloud 9 (9th Anniversary Polish)

On Cloud 9 is described as a polish topper loaded with iridescent flakies in multiple colors and holographic microflakies in a clear base. It glows bright white in the dark.

On Cloud 9 was a fantastic topper. It struck a good balance between being dense enough to have a lot of flakes, but also contrasting well with whatever base it’s on. It also builds really well on its own and the glow on it is quite pretty. The formula is really easy to work with too.

Shown is one coat over white, one coat over pink, three coats on its own, and one coat over a dark teal plus glossy top coat.
