Hello! I’m super thrilled to share with you an upcoming Cupcake Polish, featuring six shades that sparkle in different ways!
The Celestial Collection features five multichrome reflective glitter polishes and one super holographic silver polish. It will launch on February 11 at noon CT, and polishes will be available for $13 individually or $70 as a set on the Cupcake Polish site. Cupcake Polish will also be releasing a new tinted base coat, White Pop, at the same time.
Let’s get into these sparkly beauties!
Quasar
Quasar is described as a gold/pink/green multichrome nail polish with silver reflective glitter scattered in.
Quasar had a smooth and even formula, but it does dry pretty gritty and flat. The reflective glitter in this polish, and all the others in this collection, are really dense and very sparkly in both normal and shadowed lighting. Overall the formula is also quite self-leveling and the shift in this polish is so incredibly flattering and stunning. Quasar is probably my favorite from this collection!
Shown is two coats plus two coats of glossy top coat, first in normal studio lighting and then with flash. I probably should have used a glitter grabbing top coat.
Andromeda
Andromeda is described as a black/red multichrome nail polish with silver reflective glitter scattered in.
Andromeda had a smooth formula, again drying very gritty and flat. The formula is even and self-leveling, and the shifts in this polish are a bit more subtle and overall more grey.
Shown is two coats plus a glitter grabbing top coat and then glossy top coat, first in normal studio lighting and then with flash.
Nebula
Nebula is described as a blue/green multichrome nail polish with silver reflective glitter scattered in.
Nebula had a smooth and even formula, also drying very gritty and flat.
Shown is two coats plus a glitter grabbing top coat and then glossy top coat, first in normal studio lighting and then with flash.
Equinox
Equinox is described as a teal/purple/gold multichrome nail polish with silver reflective glitter scattered in.
Equinox had a smooth and even formula that dried gritty and flat. The multichrome-ness is a bit stronger and shiftier in this polish, and quite stunning in person.
Shown is two coats plus a glitter grabbing top coat and then glossy top coat, first in normal studio lighting and then with flash.
Meteor Shower
Meteor Shower is described as a blue/purple/red multichrome nail polish with silver reflective glitter scattered in.
Meteor Shower had a smooth and even formula that, like the other reflective glitters, dried very gritty and flat.
Shown is two coats plus a glitter grabbing top coat and then glossy top coat, first in normal studio lighting and then with flash.
Lightspeed
Light Speed is described as a super strong silver linear holographic nail polish.
Light Speed had a very smooth and even formula that self-leveled well and practically glided on the nail. The formula is quite opaque and so so holographic, both when dry and wet. If you want to own only one holographic polish in your collection, it should be this one!
Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.
Tinted Base Coat: White Pop
Cupcake Polish is releasing a new tinted base coat!
White Pop is a semi-sheer white tinted base coat that can be used to blur the lines of your nailbed and will brighten up any polish used over it. Your neon and pastel nail polishes will look extra amazing with White Pop as your base coat.
White Pop had an even, smooth, and self-leveling formula. It definitely covers well and would pair fantastically with shimmers, sheers, and cremes.
Shown is one coat of White Pop, and then a comparison with a shimmer polish.
That’s it for this super sparkly release! Let me know if you’ll be picking any of these up, and thanks for reading!
XOXO,
Lauren
