Cuticula: Sparkle Wherever You Go Collection + Extras

*Disclosure: Press samples – I received these polishes for free in exchange for swatch photography. All reviews and opinions are my own.*

Hello! Today I’m here with an exciting new collection from Cuticula – their Sparkle Wherever You Go collection, which is a six piece collection that will be offered in both reflective and non-reflective options. I have swatches of both sets, and you can’t go wrong either way!

I also have swatches of a few extra one-offs from Cuticula, including their May Cuticula of the Month and two polishes from their spinoffs series. Everything in this post will be releasing on the Cuticula site on May 20 at 8am Arizona time, except for Toxic Apple which was a previous release.

All polishes will be available for $13 individually, except for Glow Fish – the May COTM (Cuticula of the Month) – which will be available at a discounted price of $11 until May 27. Starting May 28, the polish will be priced at $13. You can also grab the Sparkle Wherever You Go collection for $75 – there will be a six piece option at this price for both the regular and reflective sets.

Let’s get into the pretties!

Sparkle Wherever You Go

For this collection, each polish has a reflective and non-reflective option. I’ll be grouping and reviewing the reflective/non-reflective version of each polish together.

Dare To Dream Big

Dare To Dream Big is described as a soft chocolate base with lilac/pink/gold shifts, gold metallic flakes, and silver holographic flakes. The reflective version has added gold reflective glitter.

Dare To Dream Big (regular) had a smooth and even formula. I would be wary of pink staining from this polish.

Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.

Dare To Dream Big (reflective) had a smooth and even formula that leaned a bit on the thicker side. Again, I would be wary of pink staining from this polish.

Shown is two coats plus a coat of Quenched, followed by glossy top coat first in normal studio lighting and then with flash.

Kill Em With Kindness

Kill Em With Kindness is described as a periwinkle base with blue/purple shifts, rose gold metallic flakes, and silver holographic flakes. The reflective version has added silver reflective glitter.

Kill Em With Kindness (regular) had a smooth and even formula with a slightly sheerer base.

Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat.

Kill Em With Kindness (reflective) had a smooth and even formula that dried gritty. I recommend going for medium or thicker coats.

You’ve Got This

You’ve Got This is described as a brown base with orange/gold shifts, rose gold metallic flakes, and silver holographic flakes. The reflective version has added gold reflective glitter.

Good Vibes Only

Good Vibes Only is described as an aqua base with green/gold shifts, green metallic flakes, and silver holographic flakes. The reflective version has added gold reflective glitter.

Good Vibes Only (regular) had a smooth and even formula with flakes that laid flat and even. I had a little bit of visible nail line at two coats, so I went for three.

Leave A Little Sparkle

Leave A Little Sparkle is described as a deep raspberry base with violet/gold/green shifts, copper metallic flakes, and silver holographic flakes. The reflective version has added gold reflective glitter.

Keep F**king Going

Keep F**king Going is described as a deep sapphire blue base with blue/purple shifts, green metallic flakes, and a sprinkling of silver holographic flakes. The reflective version has added gold reflective glitter.

Keep F**king Going (regular) had a slightly thicker formula, likely because of all the elements in the polish. It applied evenly and easily.

May Cuticula of the Month

Amanda is starting a new Cuticula of the Month series, where every month she will be creating a polish for the shop. These COTMs will be available at a discounted price during the first week of their release.

Glow Fish

Glow Fish is described as a deep royal purple jelly with pink/green/gold and purple/blue ultra chrome flakes, shifting glass flakes in blue and pink, and blue metallic flakes.

Glow Fish had a smooth formula with a mix of flakes that were dense but flat on the nail.

Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.

Spin-offs

Spin-offs are polishes based off of previously popular Cuticula releases.

Toxic Apple

Toxic Apple is described as a wine jelly base with a rainbow of shifting glass flakes and matte black flakes. Toxic Apple is a spin-off of Poisoned Apple from the Enchanted Collection.

Toxic Apple had a smooth jelly base with flakes that were flat and dense on the nail. On some nails I had a few patchy spots at two coats, so I went for three.

Shown is three coats plus two coats of glossy top coat.

Forbidden

Forbidden is described as a purple jelly base with a rainbow of glass flakes and matte black flakes. Forbidden is a spin-off of Banished from the Enchanted collection.

Forbidden had a slightly thinner base formula. To create a lot of depth, I recommend going for thinner coats to build the polish up.

Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat.

So many gorgeous polishes to choose from with this release! Let me know which ones you’re eyeing, and thanks for reading!

XOXO,

Lauren
