Jen & Berries: Spring Holos Collection

*Disclosure: PR samples- I received these polishes for free in exchange for swatch photography.*

Hello hello! Today I’m excited to share with you the Jen & Berries Spring Holos collection, or what is probably going to be the last spring collection I’ll share with you this year. This collection consists of 6 stunning pastel holos that were loosely inspired by flowers and songs.

I absolutely love spring collections and spring tones, so pretty much every polish in this collection was a favorite, including the orange and yellow which are typically colors I shy away from. The Spring Holos collection releases on May 28 and will be available on the Jen & Berries website for $11 individually or $60 as a set. Let’s get into these beauties!

Jack & Dianthus

Jack & Dianthus is described as a pink holo with orange shimmer, copper flecks and holographic flakies.

It’s no surprise to me that Jack & Dianthus is my favorite polish of this collection – I’m always gravitating towards pinks, and pastel pinks are my weak spot. The formula on Jack & Dianthus was amazingly smooth, and I had no issue with application, running, pooling, or staining. I truly cannot express how much I love this polish (both for spring and for other seasons) – I love it so much, I’ve even used it for a pedicure.

Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat. The top coat I used was Jen & Berries’ Lap Record.

Poppy Don’t Preach

Poppy Don’t Preach is described as a pale spicy orange holo with gold shimmer, gold flecks and holographic flakies.

This polish was a pleasant surprise for me – I typically shy away from oranges because they clash with my skin tone, but Poppy Don’t Preach had more of a bronze/champagne gold tone that wore like a gorgeous neutral on me. It’s definitely a polish I’ll go towards when I want to feel a bit classy. The formula was impeccable with easy smooth application.

Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat. The first coat was really opaque for this polish – with a slightly thicker coat and a less visible nail line, this one could be a one coater.

It’s Gold, It’s Mari-gold, Baby

It’s Gold, It’s Mari-gold, Baby is described as a golden holo with red shimmer, red flecks and holographic flakies.

This polish, just like all others in the collection, had a great formula. I was also pleasantly surprised by this polish – it appears a bit warmer in tone than what my pictures show on my screen, but it didn’t really clash with my yellow undertones so I personally was happy with how it looked.

Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat.

I Hear the Sound of Hellebores

I Hear the Sound of Hellebores is described as a green holo with gold shimmer, gold flecks and holographic flakies.

I Hear the Sound of Hellebores had a great smooth formula – no running, pooling, or staining on my end. This polish is a gorgeous soft green – it actually reminds me of the color that my childhood room’s walls were, so I was personally quite fond of it.

Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat. Looking back, I probably should have done three coats since there’s a tiny shadow of my nail line showing.

I See a Blue Star Rising

I See a Blue Star Rising is described as a sky blue holo with violet shimmer, violet flecks and holographic flakies.

Just like all others in this collection, I See a Blue Star Rising had a great, smooth formula. The violet shimmer and flecks give the polish the slightest bit of blurple tint, and I think it’s gorgeous.

Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.

She Moves in Wisteria Ways

She Moves in Wisteria Ways is described as a lavender holo with pink shimmer, pink flecks and holographic flakies.

This was another gorgeous polish with great formula. She Moves in Wisteria Ways is a polish I’ve already picked up and worn again – it’s perfect for the spring to summer transition!

Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.

Bonus: Skittle

The moment I got this PR package, I knew I would have to do a skittle mani with the colors. I left out the yellow in this skittle because the other colors pulled at me too much. However, I know I’ll be coming back for another skittle with the yellow sometime soon!

From thumb to pinky (L-R): Poppy Don’t Preach, Jack & Dianthus, She Moves in Wisteria Ways, I See a Blue Star Rising, I Hear the Sound of Hellebores.

To recap, the Spring Holos collection releases on May 28 and will be available on the Jen & Berries website for $11 individually or $60 as a set.

Thanks for reading!

XOXO,

Lauren
