Kathleen & Co: Dragons and Wizards Collection

*Disclosure: Press samples – I received these polishes for free in exchange for swatch photography. All reviews and opinions are my own.*

Hello! In this post I’ll be sharing six gorgeous polishes available for the latest Kathleen & Co release. The Dragons and Wizards collection will be available January 28 on the Kathleen & Co site. Polishes will be available for $12.50 each.

Let’s get right into it!

Eye of Sauron

Eye of Sauron is described as a black with red shifting shimmer and reflective glitters.

Eye of Sauron had a slightly thinner base formula. I recommend going for medium/thicker coats, and the polish dries with a bit of gritty texture.

Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat, first in normal studio lighting and then with flash.

Dragon’s Eye

Dragon’s Eye is described as a glowy green jelly with orange magnetic.

Dragon’s Eye had a smooth and even formula. It magnetized somewhat more subtly for me, and I did have a little difficulty with getting the line to be prominent, but the shifts are still quite noticeable in person.

Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.

Sisu

Sisu is described as a pale blue base with glowy blue shimmer.

Sisu had a smooth and even formula. It did lean a bit on the sheer side, so three thin coats probably won’t get you full opacity.

Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat.

Magic Serpentine

Magic Serpentine is described as a teal base with color shifting shimmer and magnetic pigment.

Magic Serpentine had a smooth and even formula. The magnetic effect was really easy to get, and I recommend going for medium coats.

Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat.

A Dragon’s Tail

A Dragon’s Tail is described as a violet with teal shifting shimmer.

A Dragon’s Tail had a smooth formula. I recommend going for medium coats, as the formula isn’t that self-leveling.

Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.

Electric Wizard 2.0

Electric Wizard 2.0 is described as a deep violet base with glowy blue shimmer.

Electric Wizard 2.0 had a smooth and even formula that leaned jelly-like. The polish is very vibrant and pigmented in person, so I would recommend doubling up on base coat and being wary of staining.

Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.

Cuticle Pusher

Kathleen & Co will also be releasing a new glass cuticle pusher and nail file on their site! Pictured is the glass cuticle pusher with Sisu.

So many cool shades to choose from! Let me know if you’ll be picking any of these up, and thanks for reading!

XOXO,

Lauren
