Hello! Welcome to my Polished Gamers Box post for September. Today I’ll be sharing three polishes that will be available as part of the Night at the Arcade September PGB sale. The PGB site will go live for pre-order on September 15, and the shop will be open until September 20. Let’s get into it!
Adored Colors: Glow-Pac-Go
Glow-Pac-Go is described as a yellow crelly base polish with a ton of neon orange and purple, hexes, blue microglitter and red and green circle glitter. It glows pineapple yellow in the dark, and is inspired by a glow sign of Pacman.
This polish had a pretty creamy base, but I will say that the bigger glitters need a bit of fishing and shaking to get out. The bigger pink and orange glitters were also placed via glitter placement with a dotting tool rather than through organic application. I had the slightest bit of base patchiness at two coats and wanted to get more glitters, so I went for three coats.
The glow on this polish is quite strong – my second swatch carousel features the glow in the dark look.
Shown is three coats plus a glitter grabbing top coat (I used Glisten & Glow’s Glitter Grabber), and then glossy top coat.
Glow-Pac-Go will be available for $11.50 with a cap of 30.
BCB Lacquers: Enter The World of Tron
Enter The World of Tron is described as a silver base with a pink/purple/gold shift and holo. It is inspired by an image of two Light Cycle bikes racing in Tron.
Enter The World of Tron had a smooth formula with no brush strokes, and the polish dried with a bit of a metallic feeling. The warm shimmer throughout is stronger in person than in my photos, and compliments the base color very well.
Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.
Enter The World of Tron will be available for $13 with a cap of 150.
Jen & Berries: $100 Glow Bracelet
$100 Glow Bracelet is described as a squishy light blue jelly with a mix of neon yellow, green and pink glitter/microglitter. It is inspired by blue game tickets.
This polish had a jelly-like application, and the small glitters come out easily. I did have to fish a bit for the larger pink glitters and manipulate their placement a bit, but I also didn’t leave the bottle upside-down or anything beforehand so doing so will probably remove the need to fish for glitters. The formula is really squishy, and I recommend not going too heavy on your coats.
I personally thought this polish was super cute, and loved how it looked on me.
Shown is three coats plus two coats of glossy top coat.
$100 Glow Bracelet will be available for $11 with a cap of 75.
Thanks for reading!
XOXO,
Lauren
