Potion Polish: Coven Trio & Falloween Custom

*Disclosure: Press samples – I received these polishes for free in exchange for swatch photography. All reviews and opinions are my own.*

Hello! Today I’ll be sharing polishes from a new to my blog brand – Potion Polish! I have swatches and a review for the Coven Trio, which is releasing on the Potion Polish site on October 9 at 1pm ET, and their Falloween Polish Lovers Custom, which will be open for preorder from October 9 to 16. The custom will only be available to those that are part of the Falloween Polish Lovers group on Facebook – you can find and join the group here.

I think that’s it for the details – let’s get into the swatches!

Falloween Polish Lovers Custom: Falloween Fest

Falloween Fest is described as a violet purple crelly with orange, green and black glitter and black shreds.

Falloween Fest had a great formula with the glitters coming out evenly, and the base being a smooth jelly-leaning crelly. The glitters are pretty evenly dispersed, and the larger black shreds also come out pretty easily.

Shown is two coats plus one coat of a glitter grabbing top coat, and then glossy top coat.

Falloween Fest will be available for $10.50.

Coven Trio

Forsaken

Forsaken is described as having black cherry/bright red/copper shifting chrome shimmer with holo flakes.

Forsaken had a smooth, easy to work with formula. It self-levels well, but it does dry a bit dull so I recommend pairing it with a glossy top coat.

Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.

Forsaken will be available for $11.50.

First Bite

First Bite is described as a deep blood red jelly with gold micro glitter and small copper holo glitters.

First Bite had a smooth formula, with the microglitters coming out evenly and also quite densely. Because of all the microglitters the polish does dry with some gritty texture, so I recommend a glitter grabbing top coat or thicker coat of glossy top coat.

Shown is two coats plus two coats of glossy top coat.

First Bite will be available for $10.50.

Creature Of The Night

Creature Of The Night is described as having black/red/copper shifting chrome shimmer with small and micro silver glitters.

Creature Of The Night had a jelly-like formula, so it was slightly streaky on its first coat. It did even out really nicely and without any patches on the second coat, though. Like Forsaken, Creature Of The Night does dry a bit dull so I recommend pairing it with a glossy top coat to really bring out the shifts.

Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.

Creature Of The Night will be available for $11.50.

Will you be picking any of these gorgeous fall shades up? Let me know, and thanks for reading!

XOXO,

Lauren
