*Disclosure: Press samples – I received these polishes for free in exchange for swatch photography. All reviews and opinions are my own.*
Hello! I’m a little late to publishing this blog post, but I wanted to share my swatches of the Rogue Lacquer Winter and Holi-yay collection, plus some of their Black Friday special polishes.
The Rogue Lacquer Black Friday sale is now live, and polishes are 10-40% off sitewide with no code needed. There are overpour and oops grab bags, a 10% discount off the newest collection, a free polish on all orders of $40 or more, and a 24-hour $6 doorbuster (Santa’s Shattered). Top and base coats are also on sale for $5. All of these deals are available on the Rogue Lacquer site!
The Winter and Holi-yay collection will be $52 as a set, with polishes priced differently individually. During the Black Friday sale, polishes will be discounted!
I think that’s it for the details, so let’s get into it.
The Christmas Crelly 2.0
The Christmas Crelly is back, but with a revamp change! Rogue Lacquer wanted to bring back this staple holiday color but due to supply issues they had to make a slight change. The Christmas Crelly 2.0 is described as a creamy white base with red and gold metallic flakes with a green matte flake blend.
The Christmas Crelly 2.0 had comparatively a more runny/less creamy formula than other Rogue Lacquer crellies, but it was still smooth and easy to work with. The flakes come out plentifully and flat.
Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.
The Christmas Crelly 2.0 retails for $10.50.
Doorbuster: Santa’s Shattered
Santa’s Shattered is Rogue Lacquer’s doorbuster polish, and retails for $6 for the first 24 hours and then will be $11.
Santa’s Shattered is described as a silver flake sparkle bomb with red metallic and green flakes.
Santa’s Shattered had a really smooth and even formula. The flakes are very reflective, and the polish could double as a dense topper.
Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat.
Winter and Holi-yay Collection
Holly & Bright
Holly & Bright is described as a micro holo flake sparkle bomb with green to gold ucc flakes and red and teal metallic flakes.
Holly & Bright had a smooth and even formula, with a lot of flakes coming out very easily. The polish could probably double as a topper and I also could have been fine with two coats, but I wanted to do three to give a bit more of a packed look.
Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat.
Holly & Bright retails for $11.
Everything is Pine
Everything is Pine is described as a pine/forest green crelly with silver metallic flakes.
Everything is Pine had a very creamy and smooth formula. The polish was great at self-leveling and had no pooling either.
Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.
Everything is Pine retails for $10.50.
Peri-Twinkle Lights
Peri-Twinkle Lights is described as a periwinkle holo magnetic with silver metallic flakes. This polish when magnetized has a soft holo line and deepens the periwinkle to a deeper purple.
Peri-Twinkle Lights had a smooth formula, but the magnetic line isn’t the most stark. The flakes in this polish come out flat and dense, and I do think the magnetic line is more visible in person than in photos.
Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat.
Peri-Twinkle Lights retails for $12.
Kiss Me At Midnight
Kiss Me At Midnight is described as a deep magenta shattered holo with strong purple/sapphire shifting shimmer and micro holo flake.
Kiss Me At Midnight had a very smooth and even formula. It self leveled well, and the shimmer is stunning.
Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.
Kiss Me At Midnight retails for $11.
The Rogue Lacquer Black Friday sale is now live, so head on over and get your goodies! Thanks for reading.
XOXO,
Lauren
