Hello hello! I’m back with my last collab post for this month – the Polished Gamers Box. This month’s PGB theme is Zelda, and the shop is open for preorder from August 15 – 20 on the Polished Gamers Box site. I have two gorgeous polishes to share with you, so let’s get right into it!
Jen & Berries: Epwna
Epwna is described as a taupe linear holographic with white shimmer and mauve flakes. It is inspired by Epona the horse.
Epwna had a really easy to work with formula – smooth and on the light side, but not runny or too thin. The color builds up well and deepens nicely with each coat, and it’s definitely opaque after two coats. Three coats makes the base a bit darker, so you can choose to use an extra coat if you like the look of it that way. The holographic effect of this polish is also even more visible in person.
Shown is two coats on my index and middle fingers, and three coats on my ring and pinky fingers with glossy top coat.
Epwna will retail for $12 with a cap of 100.
Wildflower Lacquer: Lord of the Mountain
Lord of the Mountain is described as a sky blue base with strong pink to red to gold shifting shimmer. It is inspired by Satori, a creature on the game Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, also called Lord of the Mountain.
Lord of the Mountain had a smooth formula that was jelly-like and dries semi-matte. I had a visible nail line at two coats, but even then the amount of shimmer in this polish hid my nail line quite well. The shift on this polish is seriously insane.
Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat.
Lord of the Mountain will retail for $13 with no cap.
Thanks for reading!
XOXO,
Lauren
