Hello! Today I’m super excited to be sharing the latest collection from Dam Nail Polish – the Snooze Collection! This is a collection featuring six shades that are sister polishes to Dam’s Naps on Cloud 9, a previous reflective glitter PPU polish. I thought this whole set was so cute and creative – both in normal & flash/reflective lighting.
The Snooze collection was previously available for pre-order, but it’s officially launching on February 11 at noon ET. Polishes will be available for $12 individually or $69 as a set of 6 on the Dam Nail Polish site.
That’s it for the details, so let’s get into the swatches!
Sweet Dreams
Sweet Dreams is described as a pink jelly with holographic reflective glitters and assorted white glitters.
Sweet Dreams had a smooth and even formula, although I did have to fish a bit for the larger glitters.
Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat, first in normal studio lighting and then with flash. I could have used a glitter smoothing top coat, but for all the polishes in this collection I thought a thick coat of glossy top coat was enough.
Five More Minutes
Five More Minutes is described as a coppery orange jelly with holographic reflective glitters and assorted white glitters.
Five More Minutes had a smooth and even formula. I had a little bit of nail line peeking through at two coats so I went for three. Leaving my bottle upside down for around 15 minutes was enough for me to get the bigger glitters out easily.
Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat, first in normal studio lighting and then with flash.
Snore Monster
Snore Monster is described as a forest green jelly with holographic reflective glitters and assorted white glitters.
Snore Monster had a smooth and even formula. Two coats probably would have been enough but I thought three gave a bit more opacity and depth.
Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat, first in normal studio lighting and then with flash.
Cool Side of the Pillow
Cool Side of the Pillow is described as a light blue jelly with holographic reflective glitters and assorted white glitters.
Cool Side of the Pillow had a smooth and even formula, and the glitters on this one came out easy after a quick shake. The formula is a bit on the lighter side here, and I needed three coats to get rid of all my visible nail line.
Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat, first in normal studio lighting and then with flash.
Sleep Tight
Sleep Tight is described as a silvery lavender jelly with holographic reflective glitters and assorted white glitters.
Sleep Tight had a smooth and even formula, with its glitters coming out easily (although I would have needed to fish for more of the bigger glitters to come out).
Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat, first in normal studio lighting and then with flash.
ZzZz
ZzZz is described as a deep violet jelly with holographic reflective glitters and assorted white glitters.
ZzZz, like all the others in this collection, had a smooth and even formula. This one was comparatively more opaque in its jelly base, probably because the base color was deeper.
Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat, first in normal studio lighting and then with flash.
That’s it for these beauties! Let me know if you’ll be picking any of these fun polishes up, and thanks for reading!
XOXO,
Lauren
