Polished Gamers Box: Halo (March 2022)

*Disclosure: Press samples – I received these polishes for free in exchange for swatch photography. All reviews and opinions are my own.*

Hello! I’m barely getting this blog post in time, but I’m here with four polishes that will be available as part of the March Polished Gamers Box sale. This month’s box theme is Halo, and the PGB site will be open for preorder from March 15-20.

Let’s get into it!

BCB Lacquers: Wake Me…When You Need Me

Wake Me…When You Need Me is described as a sunset pink polish with a strong pink/orange/gold shift and holo flakes. It is inspired by a fan art image of Halo.

Wake Me…When You Need Me had a smooth and even formula. The shimmer in this one is stunning.

Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.

Wake Me…When You Need Me will be available for $13 with a cap of 200.

Jen & Berries: He’s Everywhere!

He’s Everywhere! is described as a grey crelly with a mix of black, white and holographic orange glitter. It is inspired by the cutest member of the Covenant – grunts!

He’s Everywhere! had a smooth and jelly-like base formula. The glitters come out evenly dispersed.

Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat.

He’s Everywhere! will be available for $11 with a cap of 35.

Red Eyed Lacquer: Energy Stab

Energy Stab is described as a silver base with blue/purple shifting shimmer and holo. It is inspired by the Energy Sword.

Energy Stab had a smooth and even formula, albeit a little on the thinner side. It could double as a topper if you want a more blue/sparkly effect.

Shown is three coats on its own on the index and middle fingers, and then three coats over a white blurring base coat on the ring and pinky fingers.

Energy Stab will be available for $12.50 with a cap of 100.

Rogue Lacquer: Infinite

Infinite is described as a contrast holo with sapphire blue shimmer with micro holo flake, reflective glitter and gold metallic flakes. Infinite is inspired by a collaboration between Swarovski and Halo Infinite.

Infinite had a very opaque formula that was smooth and even. The polish dries flat and gritty from the reflective glitters, and it would be hard to use this as a topper since it is so dense.

Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat in normal studio lighting, and then with flash.

Infinite will be available for $12 with no cap.

That’s it for this month! Let me know what you’ll be picking up, and thanks for reading.

XOXO,

Lauren
