Red Eyed Lacquer: Pooh Cremes

*Disclosure: Press samples – I received these polishes for free in exchange for swatch photography. All reviews and opinions are my own.*

Hello! I’m super excited to be sharing swatches of the Pooh Cremes collection from Red Eyed Lacquer. The Pooh Cremes collection will be releasing on March 18 at 7pm ET on the Red Eyed Lacquer site. Alongside the cremes, Red Eyed Lacquer will also be doing the last Da-Balmer restock of the season, as well as releasing a charity polish for Ukraine.

Polishes will retail for $8.50 each or $52 for the whole collection. I have a few bonus nail art looks that I’ve included – this collection just really got me inspired!

The top coat I used for all of these swatches and nail art looks was Red Eyed Lacquer’s Tip Top top coat.

Let’s get into it!

It’s Hard To Be Brought Down When You Have A Balloon

It’s Hard To Be Brought Down When You Have A Balloon is described as a light vampy red creme inspired by Pooh’s Red Balloon.

It’s Hard To Be Brought Down When You Have A Balloon had a really smooth and even formula that leaned more on the jelly side of crellies. It dried glossy.

Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.

100 Aker Woods

100 Aker Woods is described as a pale mint green creme inspired by the home of Pooh and his friends.

100 Aker Woods had a creamier formula, and was a bit thinner and streakier on its first coat.

Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat.

Tut Tut, It Looks Like Rain

Tut Tut, It Looks Like Rain is described as a dark gray creme inspired by Pooh trying to get honey.

Tut Tut, It Looks Like Rain had a smooth and even formula that leaned more on the creamier side of crelly formulas. It dried glossy, and I recommend going for medium coats.

Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.

Got Out, Bizy. Back Soon

Got Out, Bizy. Back Soon is described as a dusty dark teal creme inspired by the Backson.

Got Out, Bizy. Back Soon had a jelly-like crelly formula, and it applied both smoothly and evenly. The polish has a bit more of a teal tone than in my photos, and also dried glossy.

Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.

Everything Is Honey

Everything Is Honey is described as an amber jelly inspired by Pooh’s weakness.

Everything Is Honey had a smooth and even formula, but it is definitely a jelly polish so you won’t get full opacity on its own.

Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat.

They’re Extraordinary, So Better Be Wary

They’re Extraordinary, So Better Be Wary is described as a light coral creme inspired by Woozles.

They’re Extraordinary, So Better Be Wary had a comparatively lighter and sheerer formula, although I did get full opacity in three coats. The formula leans on the jelly side of crellies.

Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat.

Rumpledoodles

Rumpledoodles is described as a lilac creme inspired by Lumpy.

Rumpledoodles had a smooth and even formula that leaned on the creamier side of crellies. Don’t go or push too hard on your brush with this polish, and in general I recommend using medium coats.

Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.
