Hello! Today I have six gorgeous winter polishes that will be available as part of the Winter Lovers Collab sale. This is a new collab hosted by Wildflower Lacquer, and polishes will be available for preorder from December 10 at noon CT to December 17 on the Winter Collab site.
I think that’s it for the details, so let’s get into it!
BCB Lacquers: Khione
Khione is described as a royal purple polish with a pink shifting shimmer, rose gold micro flakes and holo flakes. It is inspired by Khione, The Goddess of snow.
Khione had a quite opaque first coat, and the formula was a smooth, jelly-like formula with good self-leveling properties.
Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.
Khione will be available for $13 with a cap of 150.
Bees Knees Lacquer: Snowball Fight
Snowball Fight is described as a white based polish with an icy blue to purple shimmer and green to blue to purple multichrome flakes. It is inspired by the annual snowball fight in ACOTAR.
Snowball Fight’s flakes were flat and smooth, and the formula was even. It does have quite the sheer base, though.
Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat.
Snowball Fight is will be available for $13 with no cap.
Cuticula: Snowfall
Snowfall is described as a super icy soft base with a tinge of blurple, green/pink shifting shimmer, and silver holographic micro flakes.
Snowfall had a smooth and easy formula. I recommend going for medium-thin coats, and the final finish it a bit metallic-y. I loved the shifts on this polish – I’ve already worn it once on my cindy hand!
Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.
Snowfall will be available for $13 with no cap.
Jen & Berries: Aurora Australis
Aurora Australis is described as a dark blue linear holographic with green to blue multichrome pigment and shimmer.
Aurora Australis had a very smooth formula with no brush strokes when dry. It had a good self-leveling formula, and you can go for thinner/medium coats and still be opaque. The formula overall leans slightly thinner.
I had a hard time capturing all of the gorgeous shifts in this polish – just note that whatever you see, there’s a lot more to it in person.
Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.
Aurora Australis will be available for $12.50 with a cap of 75.
Nailed It: Snow Flurry
Snow Flurry is described as a pale purple base packed with orange, copper, and gold crystal flakies and holo flakies.
Snow Flurry had a slightly thicker formula because of how densely packed with flakes it is, but like all other Nailed It flakie polishes the flakes lie flat and the formula is very easy to work with.
Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.
Snow Flurry will be available for $13 with a cap of 120.
Rogue Lacquer: Winter Wine
Winter Wine is described as a mulled wine crelly with copper metallic and holo flake.
Winter Wine had a formula that was smooth and opaque, and its flakes lied flat and even.
Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.
Winter Wine will be available for $12 with no cap.
I hope you pick up some of these beauties from the Winter Collab shop! Thanks for reading.
XOXO,
Lauren
