BCB Lacquers: Golden Hour Collection

*Disclosure: Press samples – I received these polishes for free in exchange for swatch photography. All reviews and opinions are my own.*

Hello! Yet again another late post, but in this one I’ll be sharing the Golden Hour collection by BCB Lacquers, which is available now on the BCB Lacquers site!

The Golden Hour collection consists of two cremes – priced at $12 – and two toppers – priced at $13. You can also get the whole set of four for $44.

I’m obsessed with the toppers in this collection, so let’s get into it!

Half Light

Half Light is described as a bright sunrise orange creme.

Half Light had a smooth and jelly-leaning crelly formula. It was self-leveling and even, and dries glossy. I had a slightly visible nail line at two coats so I went for three.

Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat.

Eventide

Eventide is described as a blurple leaning blue creme.

Eventide had a smooth and slightly jelly-leaning crelly formula. It is self-leveling and a bit sheer on the first coat, but becomes fully opaque at two coats. It dries glossy.

Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.

Solana

Solana is described as a flakie topper that shifts pink/orange/gold.

Solana had a smooth and even formula that leaned a bit on the thicker side due to all the flakes. It really transforms depending on the base that you have.

I have macros of it over Half Light and Eventide, as well as a skittle of it over black, navy, mauve, and olive grey. This one also looks great matte!

Vesper

Vesper is described as a strong shimmer topper shifting pink/gold/green.

Vesper had a really smooth and even formula, and three coats of it over a blurring base was also stunning.

Shown is one coat over white and black, and then three coats on its own over my natural nail and a blurring base coat.

Such a cute quad of polishes! Let me know which ones caught your eye, and thanks for reading!

XOXO,

Lauren
