Red Eyed Lacquer: Star Wars Quad

*Disclosure: Press samples – I received these polishes for free in exchange for swatch photography. All reviews and opinions are my own.*

Hello! I’m a bit late with posting this one given that this collection released over a week ago, but better late than never! In this post I’ll be sharing this year’s Star Wars Quad from Red Eyed Lacquer, which is available now on the Red Eyed Lacquer site.

Polishes retail for $11.50 individually or $42 for the set of four.

This one’s for all of you Star Wars fans – let’s get into it!

BB Ate 9

BB Ate 9 is described as a sheer white crelly with orange/gold glass flakes and orange shifting shimmer.

BB Ate 9 had a smooth formula that stays put, and leans a bit on the thicker side. For full opacity, you’ll want to pair this one with a blurring base coat.

Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat.

Chewiebacca

Chewiebacca is described as a rich chocolate base with orange/gold shifting micro flakies and orange gold shifting shimmer.

Chewiebacca had a slightly thinner and runnier formula on the first coat, so I recommend polishing slowly with this one. On later coats, the formula was fine and stayed put. The polish is also self-leveling.

Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat.

The Empire Is Where It’s AT-AT

The Empire Is Where It’s AT-AT is described as a pale grey with blue/teal shifting shimmer.

The Empire Is Where It’s AT-AT had a smooth and slightly thinner formula that was self-leveling.

Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat.

Boba Fet-Tea

Boba Fet-Tea is described as a turquoise teal jelly with silver/blue shifting flakes and scattering of silver reflective glitter.

Boba Fet-Tea had a slightly thinner jelly formula. Its flakes are light in density and you’ll need a blurring base for full opacity.

Shown is three coats plus glossy top coat, first in normal studio lighting and then with flash.

Let me know which ones caught your eye, and thanks for reading!

XOXO,

Lauren
