Hello! In this post I’ll be sharing six gorgeous shimmers from Paint it Pretty Polish – five of which are part of their garden-themed Spring Shimmers collection, and one May Pretty Polish of the Month (PPOTM).

The Spring Shimmers will release on Friday, April 29 on the brand new Paint it Pretty site for $12 CAD each. The May PPOTM – Flame-ingo – will be available starting May 1 for $12.50 CAD.

Sunshine is the best medicine is described as an orchid pink with contrasting shifting shimmer – icy blue to pink.

Sunshine is the best medicine had a smooth and even formula that was jelly-leaning and also slightly thick.

To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow is described as a jungle green with green to blue to purple shifting shimmer.

To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow had a thicker jelly formula.

Shown is two coats plus glossy top coat.

Spring will come and so will happiness is described as a cornflower blue with shifting shimmer green to blue to purple.

Spring will come and so will happiness had a smooth and jelly-like shimmer formula. It had a slightly thicker formula that could have been fine in two coats if you went for thicker coats – I chose to go for medium coats.

Where flowers bloom so does hope

Where flowers bloom so does hope is described as a lavender with contrasting shifting shimmer – blue to pink.

Where flowers bloom so does hope had a smooth and even formula, again a jelly-like base with a slightly thicker formula.

Blossom for your own joy

Blossom for your own joy is described as a purple with green to blue to purple to fuschia shifting shimmer.

Blossom for your own joy had a smooth and even formula that was self-leveling. Two coats is good for opacity but three have a deeper look.

May PPOTM

Flame-ingo

Flame-ingo is described as a bright pink base with pink to orange shimmer.

Flame-ingo had a smooth formula, barring a little bit of pooling I had on the first coat (but not the other coats). Two coats was fine for opacity but three gave a deeper shade.
